Abstract

Although early diagnosis is underutilized in many care settings, children with growth hormone disorders have developmental delays, obesity, and high costs that are rising globally. This study examines the costs and outcomes of innovative approaches such as GH/BMI Screening Interventions on the health and social development of children in LMICs. In a cross-sectional multi-center study, a sample of 1000 children aged between 1 and 10 from multiple communities in Egypt was evaluated. The study demonstrates that early screening and intervention significantly reduce long-term healthcare costs and improve developmental outcomes, providing a framework adaptable to resource-limited settings.
