Abstract

This study sheds light on the issue of associated petroleum gas (APG) flaring in Yemen, which poses a major challenge in preventing the loss of valuable energy resources. Yemen is rich in oil and gas reserves; however, existing infrastructure remains inadequate for efficient utilization. Approximately 40% of this gas is wasted annually through flaring. This paper provides an overview of the current status of APG flaring in Yemen and explores potential utilization methods, emphasizing technical feasibility, economic benefits, and environmental impact reduction.
