<abstract><p>Ashwagandha preparations are used to treat various diseases and widely available In global herbal medicine markets. This article studies the phytochemical analysis of extracts from leaves, fruits, and roots of the Ashwagandha plant(Withania somnifera L.)- Solanaceae family that is prevalent in the lands of Palestine. Chemical analysis of all extracts from Ashwagandha was conducted using chemical reactions, and paper and thin-layer chromatography. The results of study revealed that the extracts of Ashwagandha contain alkaloid derivatives, flavonoid derivatives,  tannins, amino acids, organic acids,  steroids, and other chemical compounds.
The significance of this study lies in the fact that it is the first to provide a comprehensive phytochemical characterization of (Withania somnifera L.), which  prevalent in Palestine . It presents substantial scientific evidence regarding the chemical composition of the Ashwagandha plant. These results support the plant&apos;s traditional medicinal use and highlight its potential as a valuable natural source of compounds which have pharmacologically active, opening up future possibilities for its application in the pharmaceutical drugs , nutritional, and antimicrobial therapy sectors.</p></abstract>
