The abstract should typically not exceed 250 to 300 words (depending on the university or journal’s guidelines).

It must present the content clearly and briefly without unnecessary detail.

Inclusion of Core Elements:
A good abstract should contain:

Research title

Brief introduction: Describes the background or context of the research topic.

Research objectives

Methodology: Specifies the research method used (e.g., descriptive, analytical, experimental).

Key results or findings

Conclusions or recommendations

Clarity and Simplicity:

The language should be clear, simple, and easy to understand.

Avoid overly complex terms or explain them if used.

No Citations or References:

Do not include any bibliographic references or citations in the abstract.

Written in the Past Tense:

Since the research has already been conducted, the abstract should be in the past tense.

Stand-Alone Structure:

The abstract must be self-contained—understandable on its own without referring to the full research paper.

Formal Academic Style:

Use formal and academic language, especially if the abstract is intended for a scientific journal or academic conference.

Guide for Authors:

This part offers instructions for formatting your manuscript for its first submission and resubmission to the Stardom Journal of Natural and Engineering Sciences (SJNES).

Kindly make sure you are acquainted with our editorial policies as detailed in the Guide for Authors and Submission Guidelines prior to submitting your manuscript.

For details on our goals, areas of focus, and types of content, please consult the ‘About the Journal’ section.

All manuscripts should be submitted online via our submission system using the Submit manuscript link, where you can upload the cover letter and manuscript files (text, figures, supplementary information, and video) and monitor the status of your manuscripts throughout the review process.

Key points:

a. Most titles will not exceed 20 words although a slightly longer title may be agreeable if necessary to express all important features of the article; titles must be a single phrase or sentence. Very generic titles that do not adequately distinguish the article are not suitable for most papers unless very broad reviews.
b. The abstract must be no more than 200 words. The abstract of this paper is not clearly reflecting its content.
c. Keywords are needed. Keywords need to be more representative of the research.

d. The main manuscript is divided into four main sections.
1. Introduction (with no subsections)
The introduction must present the purpose of the research investigation and the purpose is not supported by the pertinent literature.
The introduction needs to be improved by adding research significance, the necessity of the research, and goals and objectives.
2. Methods (with subsections)
The methods must describe sufficiently to allow the research study to be repeated by other parties.
3. Results (with subsections), this can include interpretation of individual results
4. Discussion (with no subsections), this can include the Conclusion which is no longer a separate section and general discussion.

e. For references authors must always use calendar years without exception as well as for journals volume and either article number or page numbers. The references provided must be appropriate and up to date.

f. We never use Highlights; these are for Elsevier journals and must be deleted.

The authors have carefully read and understood the recent format requirements of the journal to make the article more in line with the journal norms.
